Drop a toy at Square Peg.
Every Square Peg is a drop-off point this holiday season. Bring a new, unwrapped toy, leave it in the box by the door, and the Marine Corps Reserve gets it to a child in the same community it was dropped off in. Through November we’re collecting food for a local food bank too.
Now through December 3
Drop off any time we’re open — you don’t need to be eating. The Marines collect the boxes on December 3, so bring toys in before then.
How it works
- Pick up a toyNew and unwrapped, in its original packaging. Anything from a board game to a basketball. Gifts for teenagers are what every campaign runs short of, so if you’re stuck, that’s where to aim.
- Bring it inThe collection box is by the door at every Square Peg. Any day we’re open, during normal hours. You don’t have to stay, and you don’t have to buy anything.
- The Marines take it from thereLocal Marine Toys for Tots coordinators collect, sort and distribute every toy to families in the same area it was collected.
$5 toward your meal, the day you drop off
Bring in a toy and we’ll take $5 off whatever you’re eating or taking home that day. Dine in or pick up, at any of the locations with a box.
One $5 per guest, on the day you drop off the toy. Can’t be combined with any other offer, discount or reward.
What to bring
- New toys, in the original packaging
- Books, board games, puzzles and art supplies
- Sports equipment and anything active
- Gifts for ages 12–18 — always the shortest category
What we can’t take
- Used, opened or hand-made toys
- Anything resembling a real weapon
- Food, sweets or anything perishable
Not us being difficult — these are the program’s own rules, and anything outside them can’t be handed on.
Starts November 1
On now — through Thanksgiving
That’s a wrap. Thank you.
Fill the box with food, too.
All through November we’re collecting non-perishable food for a local food bank, right alongside the toys. Same box, same door. Bring a can on your way in — you don’t have to be eating.
- Canned vegetables, beans and soup
- Pasta, rice, cereal and oats
- Peanut butter and canned protein
- Cooking oil and shelf-stable milk
Check the date before you drop it in — food banks can’t hand on anything out of date, opened or home-made.
Where to drop off

Where the toys actually go.
Toys collected here go to local Marine Toys for Tots coordinators and are distributed to families in the same community. To read about the program or find the campaign nearest you:
Toys for Tots is a program of the U.S. Marine Corps Reserve, run by the Marine Toys for Tots Foundation. Square Peg Pizzeria is a drop-off location, not an affiliate of the Foundation.
